IRB Training
CITI and RCR Information
CITI Online Training:
Every research assistant must complete the CITI IRB online training course prior to beginning work in the lab. CITI trainings are valid for 5 years after completion.
Our participant data, including participant videos, is confidential. No RA will be permitted to view participant videos or work with data until IRB training is completed and proof of completion has been submitted to Dr. Casasola.

Click "Take CITI Training"
Login with your Cornell NetID
View Cornell Courses
Under "Learner Tools for Cornell University" click "add a course"
Complete the IRB (Human Participant Research) training. This should take approximately 2 hours.
RA's, graduate students, and staff who are paid on NSF-funded projects must also complete the Full RCR Training for Social and Behavioral Sciences, which is also listed in the "add a course" tab on the CITI website. Lab members paid on projects that are not federally funded do not need to complete this training.
NOTE: If you are coming to Cornell from another institution and have already completed CITI training, you may have the option to transfer your IRB Certification to Cornell. Follow the instructions on the CITI website to see if this is an option for you.
