SPSS
Data analysis made easy
SPSS is a statistics software platform best known for its point-and-click options, meaning that you don't necessarily need to write a script to get the output that you want. While this does make it appealing, SPSS can be expensive without a business or university affiliation.

SPSS uses its own programming language (SPSS syntax). It is not free or open-source, however SPSS offers extensions that allow for easy integration with open-source platforms such as R and Python. Unlike other programming packages that can be downloaded to your desktop and used at your leisure, SPSS access runs on a subscription.
