NSF SPACE

SPatial cognition And Children's Exploration

Project Overview:

This study aims to document how perceptual and cognitive abilities relate to spatial skill development throughout infancy and childhood. This study employs a short eye-tracking task, puzzle-like games, and interactive tablet play. Children will visit our lab 3 times over the course of 1 year so that we can track their improvements over time.

This project is a nationally funded endeavor supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The SPACE study is a collaboration with Dr. Lisa Oakes at UC Davis and Dr. Vanessa LoBue at Rutgers University - Newark.
